On Tap Now

Beer with intention.

We brew 16 taps of rotating craft beer, with a core lineup of year-round staples and a seasonal rotation that follows the Appalachian calendar. Every batch is brewed on-site in our 7-barrel system.

West Coast IPA

Ridgeline IPA

6.8% ABV

Our flagship IPA — resinous and dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Bright citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, clean bitter finish. Always on tap.

American Stout

Black Bear Stout

7.2% ABV

Roasted barley, dark chocolate, and a hint of espresso. Full-bodied without being heavy. Built for the mountains and anyone who orders dessert first.

German-Style Lager

Merrimon Lager

4.6% ABV

Clean, crisp, and easy-drinking. Cold-lagered for 6 weeks. The beer for people who say they don't like beer. Our biggest-selling pint by a wide margin.

Bavarian Hefeweizen

Weaverville Wheat

5.1% ABV

Classic German hefeweizen with natural banana and clove esters from our Weihenstephan yeast strain. Unfiltered, hazy, and served the traditional way — no lemon.

Seasonal Sour — Peach Gose

Gose the Mountain

4.4% ABV

A tart, lightly salted gose brewed with NC peaches during summer. Pink, refreshing, and slightly sour — our most Instagram'd pint by a considerable margin. Seasonal availability.

Czech-Style Pilsner

Appalachian Pils

5.0% ABV

Soft, malt-forward Czech pilsner with Saaz hops. Decoction-mashed for that authentic malt depth. For the traditionalists who appreciate what a real pilsner is supposed to taste like.

What Guests Say

Worth the trip.

★★★★★

Ridgemont has become our go-to in Asheville. The Ridgeline IPA is legitimately one of the best West Coast IPAs I’ve had on the East Coast — and I say that as someone who spent three years living in Portland. Come for the beer, stay because the vibe is exactly right.

We used the taproom for a private event — my wife’s 40th birthday. The staff were incredible, the private menu they put together was perfect, and we got to do a 15-minute behind-the-scenes brewery tour that our guests are still talking about months later. Couldn’t recommend it more.

★★★★★

The Merrimon Lager is my beer. I don’t drink beer. My husband kept ordering it for me and now I get embarrassed at bars because I know exactly how it’s supposed to taste and nothing measures up. Thanks a lot, Ridgemont.

Good Questions

Plan your visit right.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes — the taproom has a fenced dog-friendly patio. Well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors. We keep a water bowl by the side gate and the staff are embarrassingly enthusiastic about meeting your dog. Well-behaved dogs welcome indoors at the bar during off-peak hours — use your discretion.

Do you serve food?

We don't have a kitchen, but we partner with several local food trucks that park outside on Friday and Saturday evenings. We also welcome outside food — there's a good pizza place around the corner that delivers, and a taco truck that parks outside most weekend afternoons. Check our Instagram for the current food truck schedule.

Can I book the taproom for a private event?

Yes — we offer partial and full taproom buyouts for private events (birthdays, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, whatever). Private events can include a custom tap selection, behind-the-scenes brewery tour, and branded pint glass keepsakes. Contact us for pricing and availability. We recommend booking at least 6 weeks in advance for weekend dates.

Can I take beer to go?

Yes. We offer crowler fills (32 oz sealed aluminum cans) from any tap for $8–14 depending on the beer. We also carry a selection of four-pack cans to go from our core lineup. Crowlers are filled on-demand and best consumed within 3–5 days. We cannot ship beer — North Carolina law prohibits direct-to-consumer alcohol shipping.
